the problem you have where the bit cut too deep around the letters. the hog is an up cut bit and its lifting the foam up while its cutting it. that area may not have been stuck down as good as the rest of the piece. and 2nd, the hog is not made for clean smooth finish cuts, its made to hog out tons of material. next time you do a sign, use a nice downcut endmill like the downtown jenny

its asking for tool #2. if you look under tools in the masso, tool number 2 is a 1/16th endmill. that is not coming from your g code, its coming from your controller

Great video. Love that project. One thing I would like to mention... if you have received your PwnCNC VFD-Enclosure/Spindle System (both ATC and regular) since March 2024 you will have to connect the magnet to the collet nut. In March we started selling only spindle motors with ceramic bearings. This means that even though the spindle body is grounded the ground does not pass to the bit. Just thought I would share that.
